With their acoustic folk and warm vocal harmonies, Amble quickly became one of the most striking new acts from Ireland. The trio comes to De Oosterpoort with songs that move somewhere between traditional folk, americana and modern singer-songwriter music.

Amble broke through with live videos that were widely shared online and now plays sold-out venues across Europe and the United States. The band writes understated songs about homesickness, friendship and life on the road, carried by acoustic guitars and three-part harmonies. In doing so, Amble fits within the tradition of Irish folk bands while sounding remarkably contemporary at the same time. Their stripped-back approach and direct songwriting have also earned the band a rapidly growing audience in the Netherlands.
