Carnival of the Animals – La Llave Maestra

The Spanish-Chilean company La Llave Maestra brings Saint-Saëns’ famous Carnival of the Animals to life in this delightful family performance. A parade of elephants, turtles, swans, whales, jellyfish, giraffes, mantas and other strange creatures takes you on a picturesque journey through the animal world.

Conceived as an ode to the beauty and majesty of animals, Carnival of the Animals is a ballet of shapes and objects – a surprising show and an invitation to think with open senses and be swept away by music, creativity and visualisation.

To complete this picturesque journey through the animal world, we have added Camille Saint-Saëns’ Danse Macabre and Claude Debussy’s Clair de Lune to the original suite.

For what age?

There is nothing more fun than attending a performance with your children. We understand you can’t always wait until your child reaches the right age. However, the age indication for our (family) shows is there for a reason: performances can be incomprehensible or even frightening for too young children. If you still bring a child under the indicated age limit, we may deny entry or assign you a seat at the back or in the balcony.
