Nona grew up among the vinyl bins in her parents’ record store in Uden. Music was always there, and from a young age, she knew this would be her path. She broke thru with “It’s Alright” and proved herself with her debut album as a striking new voice in Dutch soul-pop.

She broke thru in 2018 with the single “It’s Alright,” followed by her debut album “Nona” (2019), which earned her an Edison Award nomination for Best Newcomer. With her second album, No Tears In My Champagne, which has nearly 20 million streams, she showcased a mature sound, full of personal stories and warm, soulful melodies.

Meanwhile, she grew into a respected live artist, performing at events such as Pinkpop and North Sea Jazz. Outside of music as well, Nona continues to seek connection – something that is reflected in her themes of personal growth, independence, and care.
