Flamenco is back at the Aa-theater!
We are delighted to welcome Araíz, a musical flamenco ensemble with stunning flamenco dance performances.

"Together, we are Araíz – a name that stands for roots, heritage, and the blending of diverse musical traditions. Each member of our flamenco ensemble brings a piece of their homeland, enriched with Indian and Greek influences, creating a melting pot of cultures and sounds. Based in the Netherlands, we immerse listeners in a mystical atmosphere, evoke intense emotions, and create magical moments."

The musicians, singer Vangelis Chatzigiannis, guitarist Lucas Arrango, tabla player Tarang Poddar, and dancer Claudia Karapanou, met in the Netherlands. With great enthusiasm, they translate all their flamenco musical experience and expertise into a warm, passionate performance featuring beautiful dance by the whirlwind dancer we all know, Claudia Karapanou!
