Hidden in the quiet Haddingestraat, right in the city center, is the Lutheran Church. This “schuilkerk” from 1696 is also known as the "Zwaantjeskerk" thanks to the swan visible at the top of the facade.

The church is still used by the Lutheran community in Groningen, but it also serves as a cultural venue. Classical concerts fit particularly well here, but performances in other genres such as singer-songwriters or jazz also take place. Due to its intimate atmosphere, the Lutheran Church has become a much-praised music venue in the city.
