Just south of the A-kerk, on Munnekeholm, stands a bank building from 1919. However, no financial services are offered here anymore; instead, it provides cultural services. This building now houses Usva, the cultural facility of the University of Groningen.
Usva has existed since 1969 and offers a wide range of courses, from dancing and music to knitting and stand-up comedy. Additionally, they support student organizations and initiatives through subsidies and office space.
