Poelestraat 30, 9712 KB GroningenArtie Barrot is the musical alter ego of Groningen-based songwriter and musician Arjen Luinenburg. Writing from his attic studio, he draws inspiration from the record collections of the 1960s and 1970s, alongside the music that shaped his youth. His sound moves fluidly between alternative rock and indie folk, carried by honest lyrics tinged with melancholy. In 2024, he released five singles leading up to a full-length album in 2025. His songs are often understated and fragile, yet regularly unfold into more expansive moments, shaped by simple melodies and layered arrangements.
