Children's Workshop at VRIJDAG

Clap your hands red during a djembe workshop, create your own play in an afternoon, or discover how fun it is to make art with various artist-teachers. At the VRIJDAG Children's Workshop, you can do it all! Each week features a different group, teacher, and workshop.

Workshops

The Children's Workshop has a different theme each month, with a corresponding sub-theme each week. The theme for October is Children's Book Week. We kick off with a short introduction to the theme and the day's activities. Choose what you want to do on the spot!

After the first activity, we'll take a fifteen-minute break, and then you can choose from one of the other activities. If it's your first time and you're feeling nervous, just let us know or call ahead. We're here to help! You can also try joining a half lesson first.

Note: Wear (old) clothes that can get dirty.

Registration

Registration is not required, but please arrive on time as space is limited, and we start promptly. You can purchase a single ticket for 8 euros upon arrival or a strip card: a card with 5 strips costs 40 euros, and a card with 10 strips costs 75 euros. Payment is only possible by card.

*Running late? You can join after the break at 4:00 PM.

**On Wednesday, November 6, you can join the Children's Workshop for free! As it's almost St. Martin's Day, we will work with sugar beets that afternoon, in collaboration with volunteers from the Royal Association for Popular Entertainment.

NOTE: during the school holidays there are probably no workshops.
