Hip-hop/R&B singer and songwriter Lei Avila Santiago, aka Lavils, was born in Rotterdam in 2001. Her passion for singing began at 3 years-old, as her Filipino father often took her to his band rehearsals. At age 17, she began releasing studio-recorded singles and collaborations on Spotify. In 2024, she landed a collaboration with Colors Studios, her song Lie Back Harder became a massive hit and marked her first breakthrough on an international level. Debut album I Wish We Didn’t… came out in September 2024, and brings a fresh new blend with deep respect for early 2000s vibes.
