Trompsingel 27, 9724 DA GroningenOn March 27, the Prince Claus Concert returns with the Hanze Symphonic Jazz Orchestra. During the concert, students and alumni of the Prince Claus Conservatoire will perform new works, conducted by Simon Dobson.
This concert is all about the present and the future. You’ll hear music from today, made by composers who are shaping the field of tomorrow. Trumpeter Suzan Veneman and vocalist Hiske Oosterwijk, both alumni of the Prince Claus Conservatoire, will join as composer and soloist.
Their new work will be combined with artists who inspire many students, such as Snarky Puppy, Joni Mitchell, Weezer, and Radiohead. A new composition by Deborah De Graaf, a student of composition and music production, will also be performed.
