S1RE is the project of Groningen-based multidisciplinary artist Stephen Rutayisire, operating at the intersection of music and storytelling. His work explores inner tensions between silence and expression, love and distance, heritage and identity. Through rap, vocals, monologues and visual elements, he gives form to what is often left unsaid, treating vulnerability and restraint as forms of strength.
