Tim O’Brien will be performing with Jan Fabricius in Groningen in April 2026.
O’Brien began his career in the influential bluegrass group Hot Rize and has become a fixture in Americana. He has worked with greats like Emmylou Harris, Steve Earle, Sturgill Simpson, and Mark Knopfler, and was featured on the soundtrack of O Brother, Where Art Thou?. His warm voice, precise playing, and powerful songs have earned him two Grammys. For several years now, he has been playing with Fabricius, his partner on and off stage. Their debut duo album, Paper Flowers, an intimate and acoustic album they will now present together, was released in the summer of 2025.
