tjels is an artist with a passion for telling stories through music as she seeks the balance between vulnerability and strength on songs based on personal experiences. In 2024 tjels emerged fully formed with a treasure trove of new music that she recorded with long time collaborators Simon Leferink and Serge Desault. The resulting debut EP is planned for release on February 6th 2026. Meanwhile, she has won the songwriting competition Mooie Noten, and is touring the Netherlands as a Popronde talent.
