Alternative duo Why Kai have been lurking around Oslo’s underground scene since 2020, and have built a name for themselves across the city's club scene. They are labeled as being sophisticated, probably because they stretch the norms of club music with unconventional elements. In Why Kai's musical world, electronic club music is blended with acoustic sounds, prepared instruments and elaborate compositions that lean towards jazz and chamber music. Kai von der Lippe and Elias Tafjord perform live with keys and drums, and a visual dimension that enhances the musical experience.
