Wintergoud Hoogkerk

Wintergoud Hoogkerk transforms the historic harbor of Hoogkerk into a magical winter destination on 28 and 29 November. This cozy event brings together lights, music, and community spirit. Stroll along a beautifully lit winter market, admire historic ships, discover local crafts, and enjoy fun activities for all ages — from creative workshops to maritime storytelling aboard.

On Friday, the festivities begin when the lights are switched on. Throughout the evening, enjoy live music by the waterfront, children’s activities, and fascinating stories about Hoogkerk’s maritime past. Later, join a beautiful illuminated walk along the harbor.

On Saturday, the warm winter atmosphere continues with a bustling craft market, mini-harbor building for kids, live music, and more onboard activities on historic ships. In the evening, maritime stories return before the weekend is closed together with a thank-you moment for all volunteers.
