YouYouri makes music, theatre and is also a DJ. His work may seem a little less serious, but there is always a deeper meaning to be found in it. In this divided world, YouYouri wants to connect people! Since about six months ago, YouYouri started DJing and has discovered a true passion in this. Come and experience YouYouri’s cool and absurd music at Simplon UP.

KINDERPUNK.

KINDERPUNK. is a punk band from Leeuwarden consisting of four musicians from MINERVA Academy of Pop Culture. Meet ‘the four horsemen of KINDERPUNK.’: Floor Sannes (drums), Jan de Rooij (bass guitar), Jørgen Bruinsma (lead guitar) and Jornt Hendriks (vocals). Playfully, they try to demolish social norms. The band writes songs for people who don’t want to grow up, or have grown up too fast. Through a colourful, theatrical show in which they sing about the joys but especially the burdens of growing up. For instance, the song ‘ADHD’ is about the singer’s childhood and his road to self-acceptance.

Job van Duinen

Meet Job van Duinen from Groningen, an up-and-coming talent who has been trying to win the hearts of his audience from an early age. This stand-up comedian performs comedy with a fine range of personal stories and self-mockery. Job’s performances are not only very relatable, but also highly entertaining. At a young age, he was awarded the best in the Netherlands in the ‘theatre’ category at the Kunstbende competition. Thanks to this victory, he is now coached by Micha Wertheim and has performed at well-known festivals and comedy clubs such as Lowlands, Toomler, Down The Rabbit Hole and Club Haug. With a promising future ahead, Job remains determined to further develop his passion for comedy to inspire his audiences. Come and laugh together at Simplon UP!
