Hetta Falzon’s classically-rooted, emotionally intricate sound is as much shaped by cello suites and choral harmonies as it is by modern lyricism and musical theatre. Classically trained from the age of six, the British singer songwriter began composing as a way to bring emotional depth and creative freedom to the rigid structures of traditional music education. With influences ranging from Sara Bareilles to Norah Jones and Joni Mitchell, Hetta’s work reflects a desire for honesty over polish, where storytelling leads and the music speaks for itself.
