Westerhaven 67, 9718 AC GroningenHyphen Dash is a Kyiv-based jazz-fusion band that blends the freedom of improvisation with rock energy and the pulse of electronic music. Young, daring, and ambitious, the group pushes the boundaries of contemporary jazz while staying deeply connected to their roots, representing the best of Ukrainian new wave jazz at an international level. Their live performances are full of extraordinary energy and a wide range of emotional states and sensations that remain pure and impulsive. Two albums were released in 2025, on which drummer Myshko Birchenko and Yevhen Puhachov (guitar/loops) serve up trippy, airy new-age jazz and misty-mountain soundscapes.
