About Mike Clark

Mike Clark gained worldwide recognition as one of America’s premier jazz and funk drummers when he played with Herbie Hancock in the early 1970s. His piercing playing on Hancock’s “Actual Proof” earned him an international cult following and influenced generations of drummers. Although Mike loves funk, he considers jazz his first love, and he says that playing that music feeds his soul.
