JELISA, born and raised in Amsterdam, is an innovative singer-songwriter who blends the rich textures of alternative soul with influences from jazz, indie, funk, experimental R&B, and pop. Her music offers a refreshing mix that evokes the artistry of musicians like Hiatus Kaiyote, Cleo Sol, Jordan Rakei, D’Angelo, Sade, and Stevie Wonder. In 2022, JELISA made a significant mark with her debut EP, Season of Vulnerability, exploring themes of introspection and emotional depth. Her follow-up EP is out at the beginning of 2025.
