With both feet firmly in the mud, Marit Nygård and de Medemensen navigate a world full of questions and few answers. Their search for direction translates into catchy, song-driven cabaret, marked by clear and honest lyrics about running, getting stuck and longing for a sense of softness. Their music invites listeners to wander along, light-hearted yet sincere. In 2025, they released the De Eenmansorkest EP, followed by several singles, and built a strong live reputation through performances at festivals such as Vogelpop, Grasnapolsky and Oerol. In 2026, the group is working towards a debut album, eager to tell new stories along the way.
