Born into a family of musicians, Rita Payés’ career began at an early age when she debuted with a series of albums alongside Joan Chamorro and was a member of the Sant Andreu Jazz Band. Together with her mother, guitarist Elisabeth Roma, she released two albums: Imagina (2019), and Como la piel (2021), an album built on versions and, original songs influenced by jazz, bossa nova, bolero, classical and popular music. After a vital journey and many collaborations, Rita Payés now releases her own compositions on the album De Camino al Camino.
