Originally hailing from Cambridge and now residing in London - Ugly have been using downtime to craft a sound that fuses inspiration from choral, post-rock with rock staples of the 60s/70s, and in the process revealing a special take on the writing process. The original indie four-piece has evolved into a swirling alt-, post- and folk rock sextet, and their recent debut EP Twice Around The Sun is a lasting monument to their defiant regeneration as a band, to the power of community, and the virtues of persistence.
