Join Derek as he crafts material for a completely new Double Dutch touring show with brand new jokes. This is a work-in-progress, meaning the show’s around 60 minutes, more interactive and offered at a lower price than our touring shows. Your in-the-moment response will help shape the final version of our new show, set to premiere in autumn 2025.

All shows are created for an English-speaking audience. Expect a mix of stand-up, characters, sketches, stories and, of course, accents. Stick around after the show for a quick meet-and-greet, too.

Derek Mitchell is from the US and has been living in the Netherlands for over 10 years. In Double Dutch: Live, Derek tells his personal story as an immigrant, queer person, and student of Dutch language and culture. Derek is known for his self-mockery and sharp observations of cultural differences between Americans, Brits, and Dutch. Derek's sketches have reached over 400 million people on his Instagram @letsdoubledutch.
