Whoever spends Saturday night slumped on the couch with a bag of chips, bingeing sitcoms and still mulling over the meaning of life, might be better off finding their entertainment in the cellar bar. Especially when a band like Forbidden Wizards is on stage. Not just because they reference plenty of TV series, but mainly because they make you feel alive. Punk pushed straight into your face, blasted around your ears, shoved down your throat. All in the most positive sense of the word. Think of bands like Dead Kennedys, NoMeansNo, Amyl and the Sniffers. They’ve even supported the latter on multiple occasions.
So: out of the loungewear, cat off your lap, and head down to the cellar bar. | Julia
