Garrett T. Capps is an idiosyncratic singer-songwriter and musical outsider from San Antonio, Texas, known for his genre-blurring mix of honky-tonk and psychedelic country with “space country” influences. His music feels like a cosmic journey through Texan traditions, where raw twang and experimental sounds merge into a distinctive voice that embraces both roots and imagination. On his new album I Still Love San Antone, Capps celebrates the culture and characters of his hometown with energetic country rock infused with retro touches, psychedelic textures, and playful tracks like “Breakfast Tacos with Satan” and a bold cover of Home in San Antone.

Support Little Mazarn is the collaborative project of songwriter and vocalist Lindsey Verrill and saw virtuoso Jeff Johnston. Together, they craft dreamy soundscapes where minimalist, alternative folk seems to float and time momentarily stands still.

Carson McHone brings her layered mix of folk, country and guitar-driven songwriting to VERA as support for Garrett T. Capps. Following the release of her acclaimed new album ‘Pentimento’ via Merge Records, the Texas-born songwriter returns to Europe with songs that balance intimacy, atmosphere and understated intensity.
McHone previously played VERA in 2022 as support for Daniel Romano’s Outfit. Expect a set moving between folk reverie, desert noir and classic rock influences.
