Driven by dark, elusive rock ‘n’ roll and distorted melodies, New Candys has emerged as one of Italy’s most thrilling bands. Under the wing of cult label Fuzz Club, they fuse raw, gritty sounds with dreamy, introspective tones. The mystique of their hometown Venice seeps into their music, exploring surreal and cryptic themes.
Live, New Candys have taken their music to festivals like SXSW and Levitation France, performing for KEXP and Jam In The Van. They’ve shared stages with The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Dandy Warhols, and The Black Angels, gracing legendary venues such as The Roundhouse and Olympia Hall. Iggy Pop dubbed the band “kinky,” and their music has found its way into the series Shameless.
