A confrontational film about the massacre of Srebrenica and how shockingly little the UN and the Dutch government did to intervene.
UN interpreter Aida is at the UN compound in Potocari (Bosnia and Herzegovina) in July 1995, when it is flooded with refugees. There are fears of ethnic cleansing by the Bosnian Serb army. During the film we follow Aida closely, as she tries to prevent the Bosnian Serb army from also capturing her husband and two sons. A harsh story about the realities of genocide that is unfortunately urgent as ever.
