Child of Prague sound like an Irish take on Midwest emo. Based in Dublin, with members also hailing from San Francisco, Boston, London, and Tipperary. Child of Prague evolved from a duo’s writing project into a six-piece that fuses chamber pop instrumentation with a love of Irish traditional music. The group pulls inspiration from folk, Irish trad, jazz, classical, and math rock. The band’s first EP Clothed in the Sun (out September 2025) reflects on their college years in Dublin, childhood, adoration, connection, and fear of ageing.
