Once formed from the ashes of “The Devil’s Blood” and “Elle Bandita” in 2015, DOOL is a derivative of the word wandering (roaming), to the search between rhythms and melodies. A journey that results in a style of music somewhere between psychedelic doom metal, seventies hard rock and a touch of gothic. In other words; a particularly energetic musical adventure.

Led by driving force and vocalist/guitarist Raven van Dorst, DOOL has since managed to release two well-received albums, followed by performances at festivals such as Graspop, Lowlands and Wacken Open Air, where their compelling live energy was excellently displayed.
In 2024, DOOL will once again tour the world in support of their latest feat, “The Shape of Fluidity. On this, the five-piece shows that they have further developed their unique identity. The new work is an eclectic, yet seamless blend of progressive rock, metal and post-rock combined with catchy songwriting on a dynamic backdrop that the band is so well known for.
