Robin Aïsha Pocornie is a multifaceted thinker and doer: computer scientist, expert on AI bias and digital ethics, and creator of an event series on nerd and geek culture in Amsterdam. She made history by being the first in the Netherlands to enforce a legal ruling on algorithmic racism – a milestone in the fight against discrimination by artificial intelligence.

Robin shows how social inequality is reflected and reinforced by technology, and how important it is for us as a society to be aware of this. In an accessible, sharp and surprising lecture, she takes you into the world of AI, human rights and activism. No technical knowledge required - just an open mind.
