Jelle Mulder writes Dutch-language songs that move between vulnerability and strength, softness and rawness. His lyrics are honest and direct, exploring themes of love, fear, dreams and loss. On stage, a seven-piece band expands his sound, adding groove, layers and dynamic range. Drawing inspiration from artists such as D’Angelo, Doe Maar, John Mayer and Lizzy McAlpine, Mulder balances dreamlike danceability with heartfelt songwriting, driven by a search for connection and perspective, both inward and outward.
