LOBO is a picturesque work inspired by the six-part composition De lamentatione Ieremiæ Prophetæ by Alonso Lobo (1555–1624). By combining choreography, musical composition, and light exploration, LOBO investigates new instruments for contemporary performing arts. By placing alterity (being other) at the center of the dramaturgical journey, Aurora Bauzà & Pere Jou create a scenic and sensory framework where the audience is free to project their own reflections on the relationship between the individual and what shapes us as a community.
