Lydia Luce & Andrea von Kampen
Aa Theater
Akerkstraat 11, 9712 BDOn her new album Florida Girl, Lydia Luce presents a collection of songs that exude the transformative beauty of watercolor, sometimes delicate and dreamy and sometimes powerful. The album combines indie-folk with a deep examination of her inner life, exploring everything from mortality to self-image and the complicated nature of human relationships.
Singer-songwriter Andrea von Kampen is known for her catchy melodies and self-reflective stories. After releasing a handful of EPs, her debut album Old Country was released and in 2019 her second album That Spell. She shared the stage with an impressive array of artists, including The Tallest Man on Earth. For the past year, Von Kampen has been working on a new record and has returned to the independent approach to music she previously craved. This new album Sister Moon focuses on themes of climate change, connection to nature and the stories of Richard Powers.
During this intimate double concert, Lydia Luce and Andrea von Kampen will both play in the beautiful Der Aa theater.
