Raffie de Driver was once known solely as Goldband's charming chauffeur, a cult figure, and a running joke. Now, Raffie is a performer who belts out tunes, crying and laughing simultaneously. With a voice somewhere between André Hazes and a drunken karaoke singer, he brings the "levenslied" (folk song) back to the pub floor—complete with self-deprecation, glitter, and an elusive romance that feels both sincere and tongue-in-cheek. On November 21, Raffie will celebrate his debut EP with a release show at Skatecafe, Amsterdam.
