In the beautiful Stadspark in Groningen, we will go back in time a little during the first weekend of june.  At the Rapalje Sommerfolk Festival you can freely move around the Zonneweide of the Stadspark and literally step back in time. If you love a relaxed festival and folk music, celtic workshops and food, then this is definitely your place to go. 

Above all for kids it is amazing! So it can be a family event as well during the day!

The Line-Up of the Rapalje Sommerfolk Festival 2024 in the Stadspark Groningen

During this musical folk festival, you can enjoy instruments like the banjo, the bagpipes, and many more. Celtic bands will be plentiful represented. You can also attend workshops, for example, if you want to learn Irish dancing or archery. The following line up is already known.

Important to Know for the Rapalje Zomerfolk Festival

You can bring your own sandwich and bottle, but you can buy tokens for catering and drinks. During Zomerfolk, payments are made with the Fyndlingh, a unique bronze coin.

Child-Friendly Festival

Children under 12 years old have free entry and there is even a whole kids' area with fun activities. There is also a great lemonade bar! What more could a child want!

Dog-Friendly Festival

You can bring your dog to this festival, provided it is on a leash.
