Stinna is originally a writer who, over the years, developed a true passion for hip hop. His greatest influence came from his mother, a Dutch language expert, who instilled in him a deep love for language from a young age. From there, he began writing stories in the form of short stories, columns, poetry, and small books – eventually evolving into hip hop tracks.

Stinna believes that contemporary hip hop often lacks lyrical depth, at least within the so-called mainstream. Therefore, he sees it as his mission to lyrically redefine the hip hop scene in his own way. With major influences like Sticks, Fresku, Kendrick Lamar, and J. Cole, he aims to rediscover the essence of hip hop – not just as music, but as culture. During his Simplon UP performance, expect scratches and breakdance influences as he moves across the stage in signature 90’s/Y2K style.
