Vive La Fête Returns with 'Les Sauvages' Tour!

On May 17, Vive La Fête will hit the EM2 stage for not the first… not the second… but the third time, bringing their brand-new 'Les Sauvages' tour! The Belgian pioneers of electro-rock are no strangers to the North, and we are thrilled to welcome them back as part of their new EP release 'LES SAUVAGES,' set to drop in spring 2025.

Vive La Fête Back in Groningen!

Vive La Fête holds a special place in our hearts. The electro band, led by Els Pynoo and Danny Mommens, first graced the EM2 stage in 2021, leaving a lasting impression with their explosive post-lockdown performance. Last year, we celebrated their 25th-anniversary tour with them. Now, we are honored to host this iconic duo for the third time as they gear up for the release of their new EP 'LES SAUVAGES.' On November 5, 2024, the first single, Sauvage, will debut—staying true to their steamy, sexy, and energetic signature sound.

A Quarter-Century of Vive La Fête

Nearly 25 years ago, Vive La Fête released their debut EP Je Ne Veux Pas. At the time, Danny was still a member of dEUS but found in Vive La Fête an opportunity to create something unique with his girlfriend Els. The stylish duo quickly charmed both the party and fashion scenes. They gained international attention after performing at Karl Lagerfeld’s fashion shows, leading to rapid success.

Vive La Fête expanded to a full live band and cemented their place in the electroclash genre with their 2003 album Nuit Blanche. Hits like Maquillage, Touche Pas, and the dark, manic Noir Désir made them a staple at major festivals worldwide.
