Why the Eye is a masked quartet created in Brussels in 2013 around DjP’s surprising instruments. This four-piece in strange, furry masks deliver hypnotic, raw music, which they describe as ‘prehistoric techno’, a tribal-noisy-experimental decoction shakes bodies into a trance. The distinctive hues of the homemade instruments and the haunting rhythms played without programming take the audience into a wild, organic experience, with lo-fi and hairy results guaranteed.
