Curringherschuur

The Curringherschuur is a multifunctional building located in the Curringherveld nature reserve near Kornhorn, in the Westerkwartier region of Groningen province. It serves as a meeting place for volunteers, a workshop, an outdoor classroom for primary schools, and a canteen. Constructed in 2018 by volunteers under the guidance of Gerrit Dijkstra, the building utilizes materials from the old village hall and is designed to be energy-neutral.

The Curringherschuur is an ideal venue for nature and cultural activities, such as workshops, meetings, and nature excursions. It is accessible via Provincialeweg 30/34 in Kornhorn; parking is available in the parking spaces along Provincialeweg, followed by a 300-meter walk.
