da Carlo has a rich history. In 1974, the property first became Pizzeria Al Hamra, later Pizzeria Roma, and in 1981 Carlo Pizatti took over — the namesake of the current restaurant. With Horatio in the nineties, the business grew into what it is today: a respected ristorante where it's clear that this is about food, not trends.
