
Herberg Onder de Linden
Herberg Onder de Linden is a renowned restaurant housed in a monumental building dating back to 1735 in the picturesque village of Aduard, near Groningen. Since October 2016, the restaurant has been operated by chef Steven Klein Nijenhuis and his wife, Tanja Klein Nijenhuis-Tuinstra.
The cuisine at Herberg Onder de Linden combines classic French techniques with surprising Japanese influences, resulting in a unique culinary experience. The menu is presented as a surprise, utilising the finest Dutch products, combined with herbs and preparations with a French-Asian touch.
The restaurant has been awarded a Michelin star and is a member of the Alliance Gastronomique.
For guests wishing to extend their culinary experience, the inn offers four comfortable rooms on the upper floor, each with a modern bathroom and king-size Auping beds. An overnight stay is complemented by an extensive breakfast in the inn.
Herberg Onder de Linden is open from Wednesday to Saturday for dinner, with arrival times between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM, and on Sunday for lunch, with arrival times between 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM.
