Tattoo Convention

To kick off the Tattoo exhibition, we're organizing a Tattoo Convention with Henk Schiffmacher!

From June 28, 2025 to January 4, 2026, the Forum will host the major international exhibition Tattoo at Forum Groningen, which we are presenting in collaboration with Musée du quai Branly - Jacques Chirac and tattoo legend Henk Schiffmacher. To open the exhibition in style, Schiffmacher is bringing the crème de la crème of the tattoo world to Groningen for a Tattoo Convention in the Forum on Friday, June 27, Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29. 

The opening weekend promises to be an extravaganza with lots and lots of ink! Besides live tattooing and demonstrations you can enjoy various talks, films, music and of course the international Tattoo exhibition. Ticket sales have started! The rest of the program of the convention will be announced soon, so stay tuned!

The Tattoo Convention offers fans the unique opportunity to meet their heroes and get a tattoo by famous tattoo artists who are normally hard to reach. In all, about forty of the world's best tattoo artists are coming to the Forum.
