De Kleine Heerlijkheid
At Schuitendiep 42, near the cozy Poelestraat, stands an old house from the 17th or 18th century. But this national monument is no longer just an ordinary dwelling. It now houses a cozy living room restaurant called De Kleine Heerlijkheid.
Here, chef Jasper Beereveld prepares surprise menus with 4, 5, 6, or 7 courses. With each course, a suitable wine can be ordered, or you can opt for the all-inclusive arrangement with 7 courses and matching drinks. All courses can also be served vegetarian. Additionally, the restaurant proudly states that they make extensive use of fresh products, make everything themselves, and do not waste food.
This approach seems to be working. De Kleine Heerlijkheid receives good reviews on platforms such as The Fork, Tripadvisor, and Google, where the cozy atmosphere and high-quality food are especially appreciated.
Would you like to experience this charming living room restaurant yourself? De Kleine Heerlijkheid is open from Thursday to Monday from 5:00 PM onwards.
