Close your eyes for a second and LA LOM will take you to the L.A of the sixties, where you hear a mix of bolero’s, cumbia, soul and surf sounds coming from passing cars and backyard parties. The genre-transcending trio LA LOM’s music combines the history of the city with new energy of the contemporary scene in Los Angeles.  

LA LOM stands for The Los Angeles League of Musicians and was founded in 2019, when the band was assembled to play five nights a week in the lobby of the historic Roosevelt Hotel on Hollywood Boulevard. Initially, LA LOM’s job was to provide background music for hotel guests, tourists, and passersby on the street, but they soon outgrew the lobby and began to experiment. The result: a genre-defying repertoire that will definitely have you swaying along to their delightful sounds.
