‘Social Disruptions’, is een interventie project dat plaatsvindt in de publieke, openbare ruimte van Groningen dat gestart is op 7 april jl. 


Zes jonge kunstenaars zijn gevraagd om interventies (‘disruptions’) te ontwikkelen en uit te voeren in een urbaan of ruraal deel van Groningen, of een andere uitgezochte zinvolle locatie met sterke aanwezigheid van openbare ruimte. 
Zij gaan stevige ingrepen uitvoeren die zorgen dat je opnieuw kijkt naar je omgeving en waarbij de sociale impact voelbaar zal zijn.


Er was werkperiode in SIGN van 7 april – 10 mei. SIGN functioneerde hierbij als uitvalsbasis en werkplek met van daaruit activiteit naar buiten .
Oftewel SIGN is geen presentatie plek, maar diende als research-, documentatie- en maakplek.


De interventies vinden plaats tussen 10 – 23 mei op diverse plekken en tijden in de openbare ruimte.

 Michelle Rasmussen, Enzy Jhang, Marouschka Brian, Rover Indigo Bertels, Anna Musikhina, Beatrice Guidi 
Ieder is gevraagd om nieuw werk speciaal voor deze sociale interventies in de publieke openbare ruimte te verzinnen, dat kan in allerlei vormen aannemen (performances, sculpturen, installaties, interacties, social design.)
