What Grows and Blooms in the Ommeland?

The Ommeland is home to so many wonderful products, but what can you cook with them? Host and sustainable entrepreneur Wilbert van der Kamp will work with products from four farmers in the Groningen province and explain how to prepare them. 

What do you think of homemade apple sauce? Various preparations of the Eerappel potato? Have you ever heard of ancient grains like spelt? Wilbert will showcase these dishes to the audience, and of course, you will have the chance to taste them. He will also introduce the farmers to you.

During this cooking demonstration, a small farmer’s market will be available where you can buy the products used in the cooking demo.
