The members of Corella met in their first year of university studying music in Manchester, bonding over their shared love of indie bands such as Foals and Two Door Cinema Club, along with classic pop and rock, including The Beatles, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin and Dire Straits. They were intent on creating their own inspiring, anthemic songs, and bundled their efforts on to the stunning debut album Once Upon A Weekend, released in May 2024.
