Discover Beethoven’s iconic Eroica Symphony as you’ve never heard it before – performed on period instruments in an intimate chamber setting at one of Groningen’s hidden gems: the Pelstergasthuiskerk.

The Pelstergasthuis, dating back to the 13th century, is the largest and oldest hospice in Groningen and among the oldest in the Netherlands. For centuries, it offered shelter to pilgrims, the poor, and the sick. Its chapel—where this concert takes place—is the oldest surviving part of the complex.

On this special occasion, young international musicians come together, featuring Gijs Laceulle on natural horn. The horn takes center stage, especially in Mozart’s Horn Quintet.
