'From Us, For Tomorrow' is a photographic portrait of Slochteren, in central Groningen. Residents of Slochteren engaged in conversations with photographers from Noorderlicht about village life, their own experiences, and their visions for the future. This exhibition presents the result of that collaboration. These are personal stories, yet they also address an important question: how can Groningen change and still remain itself?

The exhibition is on view at Landgoed Fraeylemaborg, which has been a part of Slochteren for seven centuries. While the borg focuses on experiences and expectations from the past, this exhibition in the Koetshuis offers a perspective of Slochteren today and the possibilities of the future.
